Pete Gill появился в составе Motorhead в 1984. До этого ребята из Motorhead уже были с ним знакомы, Pete играл в команде Saxon, которая в свою очередь играла на разогреве у Motorhead во время их тура в поддержку альбома Bomber. Во время съемок фильма Eat The Rich в 1987 году, Pete Gill решает покинуть группу, да и вообще завершить музыкальную карьеру. В 2001 году Pete Gill участвует в записи диска певца Graham Oliver.
