Hello Motorheadbangers,
Can anyone tell me what the exact track listings were of the old Golden Years and St.
Valentines Day Massacre E.P.'s? Over the years I collected a lot of Motorhead recordings,
including ones that have tracks on it from these two E.P.'s. I just don't know if I have
all tracks complete.
Thanks and greetings,

Lemmy if possible, I am sure all of the fans would love that. Thanks again Ace.

Hi Ace-
I am planning my family vacation to Disneyland in LA to coincide with Lemmy and
crews visit to Hollywood and Santa Ana. Thanks to the info I get thru your web page
and mail list, I am able to line this up so it works. I am not sure yet which show
(or both) I will go to. Do you have any reccomendations for me? I will be
flying in from New Hampshire on Saturday before the shows, so any tips would be welcome,
as I have never been to LA before. Thanks for all your great work, which allows me to take
advantage of this golden opportunity. I am looking forward to the new disc coming out in
mid-may.
Hope to see you at one of the shows, I will wear my OS tee shirt proudly.

Will be any spanish dates?
I was wondering if Motôrhead could be the invited artist on the Iron Maiden show in
Barcelona, 23th July. Could it be possible, Ace?
P. S.: In "No Sleep 'til Hammersmith", in the song Stay clean, Where is the
guitar?? I suppose it had the volume very low...
"See me burning", a very fast song, I like it very much

Hello.
It looks like the brazilian dates will be the first of the 25th anniversary tour. This
historical tour. Honour or what? I'm truly happy with this (looks like) opening spot. I
know there's always that thing about warmin' up, but then maybe not. I think that a band
like the mighty Motorhead don't need no goddamn warm up. We gotta be rockiner than
rockin'.
Ace, do you know if the management is bringin' the official Motorheadwear etc to sell at
the concert halls down here? Many bands come here and we most times get some
"official" local=dealers sellin' beautiful t-shirts that don't live thru a few
washes!!!
Take care of y'all.

P.s.: The "We Are Motorhead" artwork is awesome, it reminds me of the "Deaf

Well after emigrating from England to Vancouver a few years ago, I thought my days of
regularly seeing Motorhead in local venues was behind me, but how I've been proved wrong.
Last year's 'Everything Louder" gig at the Rage was as good as I've seen, and to be
back this year is something else.
Are there any other devotees from the Vancouver area going along that would be interested
in meeting for a drink beforehand. My wife, who is expecting our first child in September
has been told not to go places where there are "loud or startling noises".
Apparently a Motorhead concert falls into this category so we'll have to hold off on Born
to Raise Hell until its a bit older!
Anyone interested can email me at nhann@mda.ca
Cheers,
Norman.

Subject: os: r'n'r hall of fame and else
Hi,
It's my first letter on the list, so let me few words bout myself: I live in Hungary,
study at a university, I was born in the glorious year of '78 when Overkill was made and
the first (and best) Van Halen and AC/DC's If You Want Blood and two fantastic Judas
Priest albums were released (only Sabbath fucked the year with its worst ever production).
First I heard Motôrhead when I was about 17 - it was the album Bastards, and well, it
wasn't love at first hearing, but soon it has become my most favourite band beside Black
Sabbath. And though I like a lot of different types of music from electronic to classic,
from blues to thrash, I think my enthusiasm and respect are still just growing to the
greatest rock and roll band of all time (...OK, the title is shared with the Stones).
Just referring Robert's letter bout the R'N'R Hall Of Fame (OS96): I've read in more sources that Black Sabbath WAS nominated
last year. But Ozzy could achieve to delete Black Sabi from the list of the nominees saying this whole thing is not about
the fans, the music but the so-called elite of the music industry, the media: it's the game of assholes who never bought a
concert-ticket or a record in their life. And he was absolutely right! (Though he couldn't avoid to get a Grammy last year.)
These plays, all the awards etc. are all just about the industry, the market, the money, the commerce and the many people
bowing down to them and barely has anything to do with the Music, the Art, the Sincerity. I've been always searching the real
music that touches my soul and I've never give a damm bout what the media's trying to sell me - I think you do this, that's
why you are here. I know the only way: to ignore the taste-dictating and trend-riding petty monarchs and marketing managers
who crawl into and foul the music and fulfil the TVscreen, and all the shit that's mostly flowing from the TV and the radio.
I'm just struck by an old Ozzy-song: "the media sells it and you live the role" (Crazy Train). "Fuckin experts say that heavy
music is dead and gone; but look at each other, look around!" or somehow like this Phil Anselmo preaches on the Pantera live
album. These are just my thoughts - the question is how to remain a sane human individual in the world. Let me one more quotation,
from an old Rolling Stones song: "I'm free to sing my song knowing it's out of trend" (I'm Free). ...And anyway the real awards
are in the hearts.
About the new album: I have to say I can hardly wait to have and listen to it! And I hope
it will pick up the thread of the marvellous Motôrhead albums of the ninetees, which I
think was ceased after the album Overnight Sensation - which is at least for me one of the
greatest-ever records, of which strength and lyrical depth and sound SnakeBiteLove lacked
a lot. And I think the new album's cover is great with the angry army of orcs and its
colours (though I have to say the cover of OS still reamins my favourite with its
simplicity and unusual feature). And One More Fucking Time is simply brilliant (and I
can't find words) as long as I could hear it.
Bye and hail to all of ya,
Barna

about the amount of mail coming their way.Fucking ungrateful bastards. A couple of things to mention, first off reading the
tour dates from the past did remind of the time i first came to know the name of the band, this tiny little venue called the
Boat Club in Nottingham, where every saturday night a band of some description would play, although it was supposed to be
for what was then caled "hard rock" the bands over several weeks were getting worse and worse and each time i was saying to
myself " thats it, no more". Saturday night came around again and i`m told that this band with hawkwinds ex-bass player is
on, so, what did i do, i didn`t go. (what a prat). Back at work that monday i was told that you know who walked on stage and
told those present to "make the most of this your`e all be fucking deaf in the next ten minutes" and starts up with
the most hideous volume level imaginable and you have a couple of hundred people to fit on to a balcony with room for
about twenty. Somewhere i read about a world record for fitting X amount of people into a V.W. Beetle, there must be something
on a par there. That was in 1976 (for you train spotters out there). Any way, i have enjoyed ever since, this form, this
thing that over the years Lemmy has nurtured polished and produced, it is a one off never to be repeated anywhere ever, truly
inspirational and at times sublime.
Occasionally you can see them at less than 100%, i was at the Astoria last year and i have seen better, i don`t like
guitar solos or drum solos or guest artistes, the whole attraction of this outfit is the no frills attached, fist in the face
approach, oh well you can`t win them all and i remain grateful (for that show and all the others i`ve been to) ,you
pays you`re money and makes your choice, which is the reason why i will be travelling down to Guildford in July when i could
see them in my own back yard, (not Nottingham but Derbyshire) it`s got nothing to do with giving my hard earned pennies
to a bunch of pseudo-Hells Angels, its just that i fancy seeing Rolf Harris on the same bill. Now that will be something to
behold.
Keep up the good work Ace

Metlhedz,
I noticed that on the west coast leg of the tour, Motorhead is playing with Fu Manchu, Nashville Pussy, and Speedealer.
For those of you who live out there I suggest you do everything in your power to go because this lineup has the potential
to create the most awesome rock scene in the history of rock scenes. Motorhead (the greatest band in the world) with
probably the three next best live acts in the world (outside of the Hellacopters). Does anybody know if these bands
will be playing with Motorhead on the east coast as well? Please say yes or I smash you.

Just wanted to say hi to Ace and all the Motorhead fans around the world. Keep up
the great work Ace. Cant wait for the new album to come out. I recently picked
up a tribute album called Built for Speed-A Motorhead Tribute. Its not bad. If
you like Hardcore and Punk music, it would be one to check out. Here is a listing of
the tracks and performers:
Ace of Spades--Blood for Blood
R.A.M.O.N.E.S.--Groovie Ghoulies
Orgasmatron--Integrity
Rock and Roll--Dropkick Murphys
Sweet Revenge--Skarhead
We Are The Road Crew--Electric Frankenstein
Metropolis--Chrome Locust
I'll Be Your Sister--Zeke
No Class--Farenheit 451
Bomber--Terra Firma
Motorhead--Speedealer
As i said before, most of it is pretty good, its Motorhead performed in a
Harcore/Punkish way. With the exception of Bomber, which is kinda slow. I think they
ruined the song. But thats just my opinion.
MOTORHEAD RULES.......

Lemmy just did an interview on London based radio station X-FM. Motorhead will be filming
the video for God Save The Queen on Sunday in London, and they did a competition to select
people to appear in it. They played 4 tracks off the album, including God Save The Queen
and One More Fucking Time. Lemmy has confirmed that the 25th anniversary gigs and UK tour
are planned for September, as well as a Hawkwind reunion. He suggested that people from
previous lineups might be in attendance.
