thanx for the discography, keep on the good work. theres only one problem about the brightness/contrast of the album covers on http://www.imotorhead.com/discog.htm, the look very flat and not saturated enough.

Funniest thing about Motorhead playing the Guildford festival is that they're sharing the stage with Rolf Harris that night.... Lemmy doing "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport"? Sounds trippy...

Subject: os: lemmy on the screen

Hello to everybody!

New Musical Express (don't blame me for reading this britpop paper, I picked up it by chance while hanging out in Moscow EMI office!) reports that Lemmy is concidering a part in film based on the infamous Judas Priest court case, when the parents of a suicidal fan tried to prosecute the group alleging their songs contained subliminal messages. If Lemmy does choose to take a part in the Judas Priest film, it will be based on the events of 1990, when the parents of Raymond Belknap alleged subliminal messages on the song 'Better By You Better Than Me' caused the teenager to make a suicide pact with pal James Vance. The friends shot each other and Vance survived. Later he claimed they were told to kill themselves in a hidden incarnation on the 'Stained Class' LP which could only be heard when the record was played backwards. Lemmy's solicitor Alexis Grower said: "Lemmy loves the idea. They initially came to him with an offer to record a few songs and I said: 'Why doesn't he get a role in it?' They were thrilled. There's not a lot on the table at the moment but he will be in it."

Well, it would be kickin' to see Lem on the screen once again, but don't you think that there's too much movies about Priest related accidents?!.. There are lots of interesting things happen in life of Motorhead too, so I think that when they come next time to Lemmy with an offer to take a part in the movie, they ought to bring a scenario based on a Lemmy forthcoming book or something like that!

All the best for everybody,

I have just got hold of Lemmy, slim Jim and Danny B. It's great. proves the world that Lemmy can sing, and good too. I was a bit disappointed by the sleeve though, I was expecting lyrics and stuff. I found it in import in the heavy metal section? wierd or what?any way, these songs are radioable and should allow Lemmy to get the fame he deserves.

PS: I always thought Heart break hotal had lyrics, here it's just instrumental

I have sent many letters to the R'N'R HOF Foundation (1290 Avenue of the America's New York, NY 10104)and asked the same questions as you. The responce I received was disheartening to say the least. They sent me a preprinted card with a bunch of B.S. on it. But, what little information there was on it was this: The voters are made up of ROCK AND ROLL experts from all over the country. My last letter to them (about a month ago) asked how one gets to become a voting member and who is the one that determines that one is a ROCK AND ROLL extpert. I am still waiting for a reply. I also asked why do we have to lobby in order to get a band into the hof. I thought thought that experts would automatically know who belongs and who does not. But as I said to them, this is not about quality it is about quantity. Money rules. I suggested that they change the name to the pop music hof. But, then again that would not sell would it? There are a few other bands that qualify and are not in (m! in reqirement having recorded an album at least 25 years ago) SCORPIANS, UFO, FOGHAT, DEEP PURPLE, BLUE OYSTER CULT, TEN YEARS AFTER AND URIAH HEEP. Some solo artists are RONNIE JAMES DIO, TED NUGENT, RITCHIE BLACKMORE, ROBIN TROWER, OZZY, RORY GALLAGHER AND LESLIE WEST. I'm quite sure some of you can name a few more. If everybody on this list will send a letter to the R'N'R HOF and announce your displeasure with the voting, maybe we can get REAL ROCK AND ROLL BANDS into the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME. Other wise we will see the village people in there in a few years. It is a shame but that is the way it is. Maybe we can start our own ROCK OF FAME list in conjunction with the OVERNIGHT SENSATION list. The greatest ROCK AND ROLL BAND in the world hosting a REAL ROCK OF FAME. Who else would have the BALLS to do it? What do you think?

Hello all. I was reading the last Overnight Sensation issue, and I noticed some Motorhead sightings reported. I have a couple of my own. In the movie "Give My Regards To Broadstreet," which is written by and starring Paul McCartney, (1984), one of the motorcycle guys is wearing a Motorhead shirt. Also, I just got into Twisted Sister big time lately, and of course I am happy to hear there will be a tribute album with none other than Motorhead doing a cover!!! Anyways, on the best of CD, "Big Hits and Nasty Cuts," Lemmy introduces the band before the live version of "What You Don't Know Sure Can Hurt You." This was recorded at the Marquee when TS opened for Motorhead. Lemmy gets a thank you in the liner notes of this CD as Lemmy "Kilminster." Also, in TS's "You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll" album, they thank "Lemmy, Philthy, and Robbo." Just thought some people might be interested in this. Motorhead rocks, and I can't wait to hear "We Are Motorhead!!"

It's called "The Gods Made Heavy Metal". And if that's not cheesy enough, they also have Brothers of Metal:

Fighting for metal

He also says, and rightly so, that the bad guys always have the best stuff. And it's true. Just look at those spiked helmets the Germans had in WWI, and the cool-ass uniforms of the Gestapo. Sure, they were evil, but they had nice

Perhaps the work of a madman as I've been told! Almost 1500 dates I've found but the list is of course not complete, I think more than 200 concerts have been missed.
I ask your help Motorhead fanatics all over the world, correct the list if you are sure of a mistake and add some more dates if you can! Write to nuraxi@yahoo.com with the subject "past tour dates".

Hello everybody,

a couple of weeks ago I was looking for some MP3s and accidentally found a MP3 named as 'Motorheadbanger'. Of course, it made me very curious and I downloaded the track immediately.

But when I checked it out, it showed that the music doesn't have so much in common with Motorhead, or I'd say, it can't even be compared with Motorhead. The song is in german it seems, so I could not understand no single word.

That's what was in MPEG file info box:

Year 1994 Genre Punk
Comment live recorded.

Could anybody tell if this song has any relation to Motorhead, or is it just a bullshit?

I can't wait for the album to come out...it sounds like one of their most powerfull yet, on a par with sacrifice maybe. Even so, I am more of an old style die hard motorhead fan and, even though i appreciate and enjoy mot's new sound I still think that bomber and ace of spades will never be bettered by=the band - you can't top perfection. saying that I love them and can't wait to see them in england ( any small dates yet ...in central england perhaps) see ya ...percy
