It's been a quiet week for me. Lots of work but not much music. I did hear that there will be some new Motorhead re-issues coming soon, but as of this writing, I do not know which releases they are going to be. The recent demise of Castle Records could actually put the re-release of ANY more vintage Morohead material in questions.

But, I guess we will have to wait and see. Is any one on the list going to the Hawkwind show? If so, please be sure to give us a full report...

It is nice to see that the list activity seems to be going up. Remember, this list is for you. If you do not use it, it will be like not watering a plant... it will wither and die. SO POST!

Where can I get some cool Motorhead gear like Shirts bumper stickers, spikes? I look through rock magazines, and nothing. The loudest band in rock and roll should have some outlet for fans to buy stuff. How about the official website? You know what would would be a cool, a bumper sticker with the motorhead monster, saying f off im a motorheadbanger. Anyone have any have a link or place to get stuff? Thanks, and rock on!

Dave (motorheadbanger since '92)

Hello all you there.

This is Jose from the southernmost Motorhead-infested country in the world: Argentina. We have three passions here: soccer, cow meat and Motorhead. Land of the best wine and the best women, we?re a lot of MHB eager to join forces with MHBangers of all over the world against mediocrity and stupidity. Let me tell you that each time Lemmy and his fellow bastards come all the way down here (and they did 3 times) the crowds go mad. Each gig is like a mosh-party, as we?re all part of the same family. You would never imagine how ArgentinianMHBangers feel heavy metal. That?s why every group that plays around here (Ozzy, Maiden, Sepultura, Danzig, AC-DC, Manowar, Paradise Lost, Megadeth, Metallica, Faith No More just to name a few) returns astonished about our wild crowds who willingly knows each and every lyric. I?d like to know from MHBangers from all over the world. Also I?d like to be sent the past issues of OS as I have issues 4, 5 and 6. Last but not least, let me know about the "Motorhead for Life" contest: what is it and how can I join. And also how can I get official merchandise and a MHB number. I heartly look forward for the band?s next visit and tell Lemmy that we?re waiting for him with gallons of beer and lots of pussies. See you all at the inferno.

Jose
(Gaucho from Hell)

**Editor: The backissues are on their way! As far as the Motorhead for Life contest, there are only a few days left. You can get info by going to Motorhead's offical website at http://www.imotorhead.com.

Hello Ace,
thanx alot for your work with that webside. Great to have that comments, storries... from fans.

18.08.97
I just want to tell my MHB sisters and brothers that Motoerhead concerts in Germany 9th and 10th august had happened.(without bigger problems). We, my two MHB friends, Klaus Fabry and Achim Herrman and I, drove to the
wacken open air festival one day before Motoerhead played (8th August). The journey was more than 800 kilometer from here at Stuttgart to Wacken, which is at the northsea. At this funny see we found our nightcamp (see leaves at 10 and comes back at 5 pm), and drove the next day to the festival area. We had the luck to park at VIP/Backstage area (cause Lem set my name on guest list - Thanx). We found there a blue trailor with "Motoerhead" written on the door". This tropical warm trailar was the Dressing room for the 3 bastards. Lem was gambeling all over the afternoon; waiting while U,D.O. Raven, Tank, Gravedigger, Overkill, and others were playing on one of the 3 stages. Mikkey and Phil arrived later at the place. Everybody was amused seeing "Rock Bitch" from the UK shaking their titts (Later on they did fist fucking and pissed on the main stage).
The roadies on that tour were: Tim (bass); Frankie (personal stuff for Lemmie and Phils guitar); a new drum roadie; Hobbs (main sound - tour manager), Eagle (sound desk on stage); and the light man (can't remember his name, although he is doing it for the last 3 or 4 years. Motoerhead had only the small equipment, because they played only this 2 gigs. (Small Transam trucking limited van with all the nice stuff we love in: Killer amps, Gallien Krueger, Phils new ENGEL amps, the new bass..... ).
We met that day the other MHBs: Patrick von Schuckmann, Bernd Adler, Joern from Remedy records, Jan and some more.. .
At 22.30 Motoerhead entered stage and played nearly the same set than they did the last tour: Fist, Clean, Shoulder, civil war, Metro, I'm so bad, chase, Burner, Class, overnight s. sacrifice, orgasmnmatron, road crew, brazil Killed by death, Bomber------------------------ Ace of Spades, O'kill. (80 minutes).
No problems with sound. 12 000 fans were enthusiastic. Phil dedicated a song to all "that had sex today", another song was dedicated to all "alcoholics". (I could shout only once at this dedications) After the show the band watched the Rock Bitch show (piss, sperm.... ugly). Lem said the day after to me "Who needs this?". The band drove somewhen to the hotel at Hamburg and we drove at 4.30am, after we were chequed by a police patrol, to a place we could get some sleep (stoned dreams...) The concert the day after was at berlin "Huxleys new world". Mikkey Dee arrived there at afternoon with his red corvette. (Goetheborg-Wacken-Berlin-Goetheborg). This day was not under a lucky star. Phil had forgot his clothes at Wacken, the concert was not very good promoted and during the concert the had to fight with sound problems (bass & drums). The best thind the local management there organised was the barbeque and the catering chicks. There was no air conditionig (aprox. 40 degree C, no Security in front of stage and no promotion!!!!!)
After that concert (Support from Tank, Raven, some swedish Hellhammers and Skew Siskin (excellent) the band left in all directions. Roadies back to UK, Lem stayed at Berlin (with Skew siskin), Mikkey drove back to Goetheburg, and Phil - I suppose he drove back to Wales again. And we,... we came home at Monday the 11th, after sleeping at the flat of the catering girls... Our nice car had 2100Km more on the speedometer, and the smell inside was not from Calvin Klein.
- End -
This was a bit of a tour repport. Perhaps it is helpfull for some body.
Bye the way, -
I still haver 140 different Motorhead records and my Motorhead computer discography (1100 dif. records, 12", 7", CDs) for sale. If anybody is interested here is my adress:

I met Lemmy outside the Warfield in '95 and he & Phil C. signed my No Remorse leather LP cover in silver and Phil signed the HUGE No Sleep At All promo poster for my ex- sis inlaw. No problem!
