Motorheadbangers Everywhere!!
The t-shirts have arrived and they look GREAT! The first ones have mailed... the
rest will go out this week. For the new people on the list, check out http://www.imotorhead.com/tshirt.htm.
Remember, the shirt is fully endorsed by the band, making it an official product!!
I encourage all of you to wear these to the shows in October.. .that way we can all
find each other...
NEW ALBUM
I had the opportunity to talk to Lemmy this week. He had recently returned from
Germany where the band had layed down the tracks for a great deal of the new studio album.
So far, they have produced it all by themselves, but Lemmy said that they would
probably bring in Howard Benson again because of his excellent work on vocals.
The album hasn't got a name yet, but he did tell me a couple of song titles.
"We are Motorhead" and "Dream" were two that he mentioned.
In addition, he said that they have done a cover of Orgasmitron. He said that
they all really love that song and thought it would be fun to redo the classic track.
He also said that they had done one other cover, but he wouldn't tell me what it
was. Look for the album to be released either late this year or early next.
TOUR NEWS
Lemmy said that the band would be touring in South America before the North American
dates. I still do not have dates, but I will post them as soon as I get them.
TRIBUTE CD
Now that it looks like the first Internet tribute album will be released exclusive to
visitors of the official website. So, I would like to initiate plans to produce a
sequel! There haver already been several bands that have contacted me and expressed
interest in participating. So, heres the idea...
Any of you out there that are part of a band that loves to play Motorhead tunes, how would
you like to contribute a song? The songs would intially available only as Real Audio
files on the official website. The first tribute got listened to by over 5000
people. Here is your chance to get your band heard playing songs by your favorite
band!
If you are interested, please send me an email to acetrump@bigfoot.com.
Make sure that subject of the email is "OS Tribute 2". I will send out a
seperate email to the bands with details about the project so that it doesn't clutter up
the list. Oh, and I promise that it will take NO WHERE near as long to get this one
up and running!

Hi ace and fellow MH fans, I know I have been asking for a while now if anyone would be interested in helping to get motorhead
to tour Australia. Well I haven't gotten any response but, it seems to me Ace that you seem to be in contact with the band
on a fairly regular basis. I was wondering if you could do me (and all other austrlaian MH fans of which there are many) a
favour and politly ask if they have any plans to come down here in the future. Also the make em deaf forever cd sounds like
a good idea, I'd certainly be interested in one. Thanks in advance

Hey Ace,
It looks like allot of Motorhead fans are confused about some advertised new
releases on cd by the band. Looking through Tower Records NYC online site they are
offering three new(?) Motorhead titles on the Castle Music America label. They have
listed "Ace Of Spades", "No Remorse", and "Bomber" as
titles you can pre order to be released August 24. What the hell is going on?
Ace, your doing a fantastic job with the web site and newsletter to say the least. I
would be willing to help you out in anyway possible. I think the idea of online
merchandise is a good one but I cant see where you would have the time. Ungodly time
consuming all of this.
Cheers!
Bob
**Ace: The CDs are yet another batch of re-releases.... and again the band had no say.

for all of you that don't know, Motorhead does a cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman". It's on a cd entitled "Extreme Music:
Songs from the ECW". Motorhead does a bang-up job on the song. I highly recommend the cd for those of you who are collectors
of Motorhead stuff. the whole cd is bands doing cover songs. Anthrax does metallica's phantom lord, i forget most of the other
bands, but Pantera is on it (minus Phil Anselmo). rock on.

Is it acceptable to go to a shirt print shop and get a spade printed on a shirt? In
the UK there are shops that will print whatever you want on whatever you want. I
have a white mouse pad with a black ace of spade in the middle.
I have seen a pic of Lemmy with Hawkwind with a patch on his shoulder sleeve with an ace
of spade. That is harder to reproduce, but really cool.

Hi there motorheadbangers, In response to Dina Babkin, yes, A.N.I.M.A.L. has released a version of "Highway to
hell" half in English, half in Spanish with THE GREAT LEMMY in vocals and bass I think as part of their last record.
I heard the whole song and it KICKS ASS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also heard a radio interview of A.N.I.M.A.L. frontman who
described the whole experience of playing with Lemmy and the usual stuff that we all know (that he is a great
guy and all that). Lemmy sings half of the song in English and the other half is sung in Spanish by A.N.I.M.A.L.¦s singer.
Despite I do not like this group (they are a latin clone of Prong, but good musicians and it seems they are cool
guys too) the song is excellent and very well played. I am considering recording it in MP 3 format, but Ace do you think
this will get me into trouble with the record company cuz of the copyright shit ???? I still have the intention of transferring
the last Mohead gig here in Argentina to MP 3 and posting it somewhere on the web for everybody else to download,
but dont know how to do it despite the help sent >from fellow spanish motorheadbangers (GRACIAS AMIGOS DE ESPAÚA,
ustedes saben quienes son !!) Now, getting back to the Mohead shirts in TV/movies stuff, as I am a devoted X-Files
fan, I recently saw an episode where one of the hackers that usually help Fox Moulder is wearing a black t-shirt with
red letters. I do not know the English name of this episode, but it is the one in which these three hackers try
to get into a National security convention at a hotel in Las Vegas. And Ace, PLEASE, include international orders in
your soon-to-be merchandise section or the already xcellent site.
Cheers, JoE (a.k.a. Dogo or Gaucho from Hell)

I spoke with the bookers at First Ave last night (Moby was in town - a very good show!) and got the latest on the possible
tour: Motorhead's management is dragging it's heels over details and has not confirmed one date yet and the tour is supposed
to start in a couple of weeks (early - mid Sept). One booker didn't think it would happen, but the other thought it
still might. This will be a co-headlining tour with Motorhead plaing last. But, keep your fingers Xed. I also
heard that N'pussy is making a "just in case" plan to tour with Lucifer if this tour doesn't pan out. These 2 bands
are a perfect bill, lets hope that things
work out so it can happen.

FUERZA" (use all your power) as someone said max cavalera was the producer in 2nd and 3rd albums, but not in this. all the
A.N.I.M.A.L. albums were edited only in argentina. they played in the vein of Pantera, biohazard and motorhead too! (i'll
chek the year) i didn't listen the cover cause i'm not A.N.I.M.AL. fan but i'll get information, so next week i'll have notices.

I was wondering if anyone knows if Nashville Pussy/Motorhead tour
will hit Canada, like Montreal Toronto, area? I hope so, I saw Nashville Pussy last
year here in Montreal, and they are one smoking Rock'n'Roll band, and one of the
guitarists, who's married to the singer is from Vancouver. But be careful not
to slip and fall in your own puddle of drool, boys, in the pit, the girls are
stunning. Unfortunately the guys in the band are not..., but are excellent
musicians, and one is from a former hardcore band who's name I cannot recall.
I read an interview with the bassist Amazon blonde woman >from hell, who
said Gene Simmons barged into her dressing room one night and asked to fuck her,
while her dad was there-very funny!! Anyway, hopefully that tour will make it
here. Also wondering if anyone knows which was released first, the St..
Valentine's Day Massacre single or EP?? I have the single, but have never seen
the EP. Ace-wondering where the t-shirts are...I need a new Motorhead shirt,
mine are so rot-off, I think I am going to have to frame what's left of them. Is it

Hi everybody,
I couple of weeks ago I spent three wonderful days with Lemmy and the rest of the gang
during his Spanish tour. It was great to see that Motôrhead are still the greatest
bastards on earth. Their shows were as always pure adrenaline. They turned people's minds
and bodies upside down. And don't you think that they've been resting for a second since
they released the double live Cd. As most of you already know, they've been in Germany
recording their next album. Lemmy let me hear what they have up to now. My god! What a
killer!! I didn't ask him if he wanted me to give any details about it so I'm just gonna
say that those songs are gonna rip your brains apart. If I tell you they sound stronger,
louder and better than ever, would you believe me. When I was a child, mu mom taught me
lying so, I never lie.
More good news: Lemmy has almost finished his biography. Soon all of, you who haven't read
a book in years, are gonna have something that is gonna make you love books again!
And now, some answers:
