Motorheadbangers Everywhere!!
The t-shirts are again delayed. Some file format incompatibilities between myself
and the printer. I will be able to work things out this week and should have the
shirts early next week. I really appreciate all of the patience and support you have
all shown. For the new people on the list, check out http://www.imotorhead.com/tshirt.htm.
Remember, the shirt is fully endorsed by the band, making it an official product!!
* When I went out on the road with Motorhead, one afternoon Phil and I sat down before a
show and did a formal interview. That interview is available now in Real Audio
format at: http://www.blastwaves.com
Nothing new to report from the band. I know that they are in Germany right now...
more news as I get it.

I had the unbelievably good fortune of seeing MOTORHEAD at their first of only three (3) Canadian shows... at COWBOYS !!!
(if that isn't the ultimate contradiction of musical styles, I don't know what is !!) In Edmonton, Alberta.
They were the first "Big name" band I had ever seen, and they BLEW the roof off
the place!! Unfortunately, their merchandise hadn't cleared customs in time for the
Edmonton show.
I was wondering if it was possible to get an official tour T-shirt through your, or their
web-site.
I had never seen such a diverse group of people (fans) crammed into such a small space
co-exist so peacefully. They were there for the music, It was truly amazing.
**Editor: I am working with the band on a new section of the website called the
Motorhead-Shop. One of the items available here will be t-shirts... patience.
For now the OS shirt will have to do.

It sounds great! I've connected my PC to my stereo, just to make sure that I could listen
to it with the best sound quality I can achieve ... and it's worth it.
Now that we're into MP3 stuff - does anyone now where to get Motorhead MP3's on Internet?
I have almost every Motorhead album, but some re-releases have bonus tracks on it and I
would be really interested in getting them as MP3's. I don't want to buy an album I
already have just for the bonus tracks.

Any word on Motorhead touring the US this fall? They've been solisitaing offers in MPLS. The date they want in MPLS is 10/12.
The bill will include Nashville Pussy as special guest (check them out they rock)! First Avenue put their offer in Monday

With all the talk lately about how people say metal is evil and how Motorhead's video's are never aired, I thought I'd just
tell you that I agree, BUT... A few weeks ago on Loud (a heavy metal music videos show MuchMusic (the MTV of Canada))
had an entire show dedicated to an interview with Lemmy. Lemmy voiced his opions about about the current state
of music, critics, the new live album, their nomination for a grammy a few years back, Metallica's tribute to them, and he
got to pick all the videos that they played. This episode was aired a little over a month ago (I think), but a replay
of it was showed a few weeks ago. It just goes to show that Motorhead isn't being TOTALLY ignored, but the last time
I saw a Motorhead video before that was Hellraiser, during Feburary, I think...

To Leslie,
If you're looking for the St.Valentine's Day Massacre EP, I suggest you go tohttp://www.ebay.com/http://www.ebay.com,
and search for Motorhead. I picked up a mint copy of the EP a few months ago for around
$11.00 US, and I see them come up for auction all the time. I also was looking for that EP
for about 15 years, and then one day I was surfing the Ebay site, and there it was!
Good Luck!

Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciated the tour
diary. It was well written, humourous and rather insightful at points!
Also, the interview with Phil in Real Audio was great. Having been a fan for
18 years, I finally got my first chance to see the band in Toronto, for Everything
Louder... My god, they were good... High point of the cultural
year... I would also like to second the request for live vids...
Let the band know there would be a market... albeit probably not a huge
one. Sarmad's site has a great download of Iron Fist in Hamburg, same
concert as the album taping. The Motorheadbangers site has two
excellent screensavers and wallpaper - thanks to Oliver... Lastly, three
cheers for the new look official webpage - it is excellent - bookmarked and visited
often. Keep up the good work - Motorhead - the only band that matters.
And really lastly - I was thinking the other day about something I read
in an interview that Lemmy said about Mikkey having saved the band - listening to
his drumming I can see his point - I think the playing on the last few albums has
been phenomenal - there is such a ferocity there and damn they are tight - Philthy
was great, but check out Mikkey on Overkill or Bomber from Everything Louder...
Unbelievable... Paul
**Editor: Thank you very much for all your praise! Yours is the first feedback
I got about the tour diary or the interview... atleast I know that one person read it

I was reading this article about some old Finnish geezer (rock legend it said) who worked a lot with different bands and festivals
and stuff back in the 70s and 80s. Now anyway, he also worked with some rock festival here in Finland called "Punkarock" that
took place supposedly 1984 (it wasn't mentioned in the article I read). One of the many bands playing that weekend was Motvrhead
and the arrangers were sure Motvrhead was going to do something once they've played their set. The arrangers decided they'd
go stand behind the PA's and the amps in case Motvrhead tried to push them over or something. Probably pretty drunk or high
on some shit unsuccessfully tried to kick over the amps having played the last song of the set. But, with the road crew and
the arrangers trying to keep the amps from not falling over, Motvrhead smashed up the mikes and threw half of the drum set
into the audience. Not being satisfied with this demolition, the band headed backstage, to some trailer. When they finished
with it there were only (I quote:) "the four wheels of the trailer left". This takes us to the rock 'n roll guy I was talking
about earlier. As he wasn't as stoned as the rest of people backstage, he insisted that they police should be called. So Motvrhead
were taken to the slammer in Tikkurila, where they spent three night before some record company guy agreed to pay for the
damage.
So boys and girls, what do we learn from all this? Well, that you have to kick the amps
really hard if you wanna smash 'em up!!!

Hello MotorheadBangers Around The world ! Last issue , somebody said something about motorhead videos
and some

Motorhead Video . But they are the greatest !
I don't know if you ever heard about this video but there is one who is called :
" The best of Motôrhead " by Castle Music Pictures . Produced and
Directed by Keef .
This video features the following 14 classic tracks:
Ace of Spades

Iron Fist
The Chase is Better Than The Catch
Dead Men Tell No Tales
Shine
Capricorn
Poison
One Track Mind
Motôrhead
Bomber
Sounds killer huh? Well that's the one Video Collection I know, but I'm sure
that there are other videos. I hope that they release more videos like that.

I have in my hands a vinyl copy of the "Motorhead" album (1977), but it seems different from the one listed on
the "Detox" discography http://www.openface.ca/~prh/motorhead/discography2.html
At first, it's not WIK2 but CWK 3008. It has the "Keep us on the road" title printed correctly (the original was misprinted
"Keepers on the road"). And it has photo credits but no photos, and (this copy) no inner sleve. It was made in
Great Britain. One thing I know: it's not the original pressing. Could someone please give me information on the features
of the original one? Thanks a lot. Ricardæo from Sæo Paulo, Brazil.

Dear Sir: I am a BIG MOTORHEAD FAN. I one of those fans who live and breath
the motorhead mania. I am a cab driver who works for a small taxi company.
Recently the county enacted a random drug alchohol testing program on cab
drivers. Netscape offered me a free home page, so I took it. I have created a
humorous, serious homepage showing my opinions. I thought you might want to view it
and pass it around your forum.

Hey all, I recently picked up the new release "Live Lowd and Lewd" It's a pretty good cd. It's a live album recorded around
the time of the "Motorhead" CD with Fast Eddie and Philthy in the band. The track listing is as follows:
1. The Watcher
2. Iron Horse/Born to Lose
3. On Parole
4. White Line Fever
5. Keep Us on the Road
6. Leaving Here
7. I'm Your Witch Doctor
8. The Train Kept a Rollin'
9. City Kids
10.Motorhead.
Bonus Tracks
11.Iron Fist
12. Overkill
It kind of sounds like it was taped from the soundboard and not mixed, except for the
bonus tracks, which sound like they were taped from out in the audience. The sound quality
on those is pretty bad. The renditions are raw, but good. The bass overtakes the guitar a
little bit, but is not as distorted as on "No Sleep til Hammersmith" Anyway,
it's released on Big Ear Music, EAZ 4020. I recommend it for anyone who is into the band,
especially the first two albums.
