When I went out on the road with Motorhead, one afternoon Phil and I sat down before a

there is a review/interview of the Pittsburgh show by an online magazine called Mass
Metal. It is at: http://members.wbs.net/homepages/k/i/r/kirbyq/index.htmlStories from the road continue to come in! I love reading about all the shows and
the stories of the adventures people have. I have updated my road story a little
more... it will be complete before the weekend is out. Have a look at the exclusive sneak

to an album, the time you meet them, anything! I have a couple of VERY special
prizes to give-a-way in conjunction with this celebration. Everyone that sends me a
story will be included in the draw.
Prizes include signed Motohead posters and CDs as well as the actual strings that Phil Campbell used to play the concert in

They played at Great Woods in 95 (supporting Sabbath, and whipped their butts :) and I had some friends who saw them at the
Worcester Centrum a year or so later. So they've played NE at least a few times in recent years. Cheers,

In response to the list posted by John. I got a couple of things to add to his fine work.
Here's the list again Hi Ace- Just want to report that the NYC show was awesome. Lemmy and crew sounded as tight as I ever
heard them. The club was small, hot as hell, and packed to the rafters with fired up motorhead fans. I bought their latest
live double CD just before I went, and as great as it is, nothing beats the live show. I tried to keep a set list, but a few
songs I was not sure of (**).
Bomber
Noclass
I'm so bad, baby I don't care
**something off the Sacrifice album
Civil War
new song-Take the Blame
**not sure of this one
Too Late Too Late (UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE!!!!!)
Chase is Better than the Catch
**something from Orgasmatron Album It was:
Nothing Up My Sleeve
Born to Raise Hell
Shine
Go Straight to Hell
Overnight Sensation
Sacrifice
Orgasmatron
Going to Brazil
Iron Fist
Killed by Death
-encore-
Ace of Spades
Overkill
Also, John left out one song I can't see how'd anyone could leave out. They broke out
with a "Dead Men Tell No Tales" with Lemmy introducing it as good ol "Dead
Men Smell Toe Nails"
All in all John was on the fuckin money!!! This was one of the great Motorhead shows of
all time!!! Great list, mixed it up bigtime!!! Kicked our asses and our eardrums!! Who's
got a good tape of this one I'd like to know. I got something I'm sure you could use. Drop
me a line if ya got a tape.

I have a cd from Sam Gopal, featuring Ian (Lemmy)Willis-vocal/lead/rythm guitar 1968. Another cd, the best of Lemmy states
that he was born to Mr. and Mrs. Kilmister. When did the name change occur? The Sam Gopal album "Escalator" Sounds a bit Like
Cream (vocals), early Scorpians, UFO or Lucifers Friend. Not too bad for early ACID ROCK. How about a campaign to get LEMMY
and then in a year or so Motorhead into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? We have to start getting our Rock heros into the Hall
before it gets filled up with disco, rap, hiphop and other top 40 bands. http://www.rockhall.com

Flawless set list (even though We are the Road crew was sadly excluded), Sounded great
(even though Lemmy kept complaining about the monitors, sounded good to me though), and I
got a sh**load of autographs on pictures from all 3 guys I'd printed from this very site,
also my BOMBER and WELCOME TO THE BEAR TRAP CD's. Also grabbed a bunch of ticket stubs and
handbills on the way out ; e-mail me privately if you want some !!
The setlist included, in no particular order :
Bomber (opener)
No Class
Sacrifice
Take the Blame
Civil War
Overnight Sensation
Going to Brazil
Ace of Spades
Overkill (closer)
Orgasmatron
Dead men tell no tales
Love for sale
Chase is better than the catch
Killed by Death

Over your shoulder
Born to raise hell
Shine I may have forgotten 1 or 2, but I'm at work at this writing. I was there at 3pm, and no bands or equipment had yet
arrived. When they did, Phil was the first off the bus. He was totally cool about signing a dozen (no exaggeration) autographs
for me, later Mikkey did the same when he went to get a sandwich. Later, me and my new pal Jim from Toronto (e-mail me, bro!)
were talking outside the bus, and who climbs off and comes right up to us, jovial as we all expect, signing everything, shaking
hands, and cracking jokes. LEMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He'd just woken up an hour earlier, and was bright eyed and bushy tailed.
Side note : If what Ace said was true about merchandise soon being available at this site, wait'll you all see the Motorhead
jackets Phil and Lemmy had on. Hopefully they were prototypes of goodies soon to be available for public consumption. Enthusiastic
crowd there too ! Lotta kids (I'm 31) there for the support acts (Hatebreed & Dropkick Murphy's), both of whom put on
kickass sets. Yeah, us old farts can rock just as hard as we did 10 years ago. Shame they only tour the U.S. 1 month a year!
Oh well, keeps us thankful !! Stay clean !

I'm a young female fan (14 years) of Mot–rhead. As you all older fans maybe could guess that I've never been to a concert
with Mot–rhead. I think I would need some help with how I should act there. (I'm not very tall, you know) I would like to
know a little bit of what's goin' on there. And at least: will Mot–rhead join Sweden this century? (if not, I can go to Germany,
got relatives down there) I would be grateful if you give me an answer to my questions.

I feel really sorry for you guys down in Australia, N.Z., Japan...and I thank god for

second year... (Last year there were 4 gigs within 200 km's from my town, would you
believe that !?!)
...first I saw them, when I was 17 in BUDAPEST '84 (it was the biggest M-HEAD show ever! -
with the crowd of more than 25.000 people!!!) & I can tell you - since that very
special day my life's been changed forever. LEMMY is the only living r'n'r star on the

Hi Ace,
I've just been to a bike show and I met someone selling the Motorhead belt buckle that has
been mentioned here. The guys name is Mike Gregory and you can order them from him direct,
drop him a line at 118 Harden Road, Leamore, Walsall, WS3 1ET, England. His mobile number
is 0961 582234, or you can page him on 07654 217117. He was selling them for ?36 (don't
know what that works out to in dollars), but that may just have been a show special - I
can't remember as I was really drunk at the time :-) That price includes the belt, without
the belt it is 20% cheaper - he deals mostly in Alchemy stock and the buckle is
great quality. Post and packing is ?1.00 extra per item. I should really have charged him
for this advert!!!

Subject: OS Harpo's Detroit
Hello To All I am writing this in hopes that it gets into the right hands. I love Motorhead, they are the best. I live in
Detroit. When they come to Detroit they play Harpo's. Playing Harpo's is really, really bad. Now when Motorhead came back
about three or four years ago they played Harpo's the show was sold out everyone was happy, not really, after the show someone
was shot and killed, and that is only the surface. Harpo's is notorious for a racist skinhead hang out. The owner has been
documented as being a KKK organizer/sympathiser, etc. The bouncers are nothing more than high school and college jocks that
could not amount to anything after school was over and they were not smart enough to join the military or police force. So
they take out there aggression on the people in the crowds and they will let the skinheads get away with murder (this is almost
literal, read on). Ever since the shooting at Harpo's the Motorhead show attendance has been getting smaller and smaller only
because they are playing Harpo's. I know a dozen or so people that refused to go see Motorhead because they were at Harpo's.
I guess I am either brave enough or stupid, but I will not let anyone ruin a good night of Motorhead. Of course they were
awesome, played some obscure tracks and cranked everything up. There were the typical mach posing, the endless stream of skinhead
fights but the worst was when THREE bouncers (weighing about 250 lb. each of all muscle) dragged this 150 lb (at most) man
to the side part of the stage. There they beat him down into the ground. I watched in horror as one bouncer jumped up as hard
as he could to slam his fists into the back of the mans head (he did this about six times) the other bouncers were either
rearing there foots back to kick him or were bending down to punch hi in the ribs. Then the bouncer was yelling at him to
get up, but not before one of the useless skinheads came over to smack him around and spit on him. Eventually the bouncer
disgusted dragged this man, who was not moving and could not get up, up these cement steps. What is even more sad is that
there is nothing that I could do. I am not a fighter and can certainly not take on those types of thugs, especially when there
are too many other goons hang around looking for a reason to start a fight. Trust me, I wanted to take a chair and go to batting
practice, but that wouldn't have helped anyone. I looked for the guy and he was not to be seen. I have no idea what happened
to him, he could be dead, or a comma, or still laying in the alley of Harpo's, who knows. Now I know that Harpo's is a huge
place and one of the few that will book metal bands of Mororheads magnitude, but there are others. There is the Capital Theater
and Empire One in Flint. The State Theater in Detroit. Clutch Cargo's in Pontiac and several others. I hate to say it but
I cannot stomach anymore of Harpo's that is the last time I will be going there ever. I hope I get to see Motorhead somewhere
else.
Keep up the great work Ace
Thanks Motorhead

Last night Lem and the guys rocked the shit out of Pittsburgh. The all ages show was
opened by Silver Tongued Devil, a local band destined for greatness. Then the event
itself; the lads took th stage by force opening with Bomber A truly great song preformed
flawlessly by the trio line-up afternthat I'm not sure ofthe song list, I was too busy
dancing, but the set included, Iron Fist Shine( I loved hearing it lve for the first
time!) Overnight Sensation, No Class, Orgasmatron, Love Me Like A Reptile, Going to
Brazil, Killed By Death, Ace Of Spaeds, Overkill , and more. The ninety minute se was as
tight and fast as ever, And to my surprise the crowd was young and very enthusiastic. I
can't wait for another perfect album of classics to appear. Thanks to Lem, Phil and Mick
as well as Hobbs, Eagle, Larry from the club and all the crew. It was one for the record

Hi people,
I forget to tell you that last year I saw in Switzerland Savatage and Therapy ? around
the same time Motorhead was touring Europe. The funny thing was that the guitarists of the
two bands wore Motorhead T-shirt during their show. Great to see bands making publicity
for Lemmy & Co.
In answer to some people's questions: yes, there is a vinyl version of the last live
album (Everything louder then...). I saw in Germany and Switzerland, and it's a 3-LP
record. Great item !!!
Somebody asked about an article where Lemmy was speaking about the show in Yugoslavia
when he was hit by an object throwed from the public. This article came from "Metal
Hammer" (I don't remember which one). If somebody if interested, I can send a copy.

Ace,
I have to say Ace, that in all the concerts I've seen, Fridays Motorhead show was probably the best I have ever seen. For
anyone who hasn't had the privledge of seeing the band perfom, yes they are Louder than everyone else and they did not disappoint!!!.
At one point some guy threw a beer can at Lem and lem told the crowd that if it happened again the show was over. It didn't
happen again. I got back to meet the band after the show. I first spoke to Mikkey and then Lem and had to get their autographs
which they signed without hesitation. Phil was not present as apparently according to Mikkey, phil was furious about the sound,
his guitar was at some times drowned out by the others. On parting as I managed to get a few words in edgewise as they were
of course surrounded by the most beautiful women in the City, I wished them all the best on the rest of their tour. From previous
OS postings, I remember someone knocking the song Lem sang for the Airheads soundtrack, "Born to Raise Hell" It was an excellent
addition to the set list. The concert in a nut shell was awesome and yes Motorhead is the loudest band I've ever heard. The
band is like a fine wine and gets nothing but better with age!!. If anyone can get tickets to see them, they're worth it.Just
to end, Ace, keep up the excellent and dedicated work you're doing on Overnight Sensation and I'll be ordering 2 of the shirts!
Hope we all keep in touch!!
All the best to O.S., Ace and the rest of the subscribers.

subject milwaukee gig greetings all this was without a doubt the weirdest motorhead show I've ever been too as well as the
longest! 21 numbers if I count correctly. The band kicked major ass as allways but it was great to hear some songs I've never
heard them play live before, such as shine, dead men smell toenails, and two from snake bite love.I guess milwaukee got an extra
song from the overnight sensation cd BROKEN! Well what made the show strange was first during nothing up my sleeve they blew
the halls power! so there they are rocking out and next thing all you hear is mickey dees drums wailing away, Lemmy played
on for a moment or two getting a laughf from the screw up. well that took abut five minutes to fix the power that time during
orgasmatron thay were playing with the green spots as they do when the lights go out. I mean nothing.I was alittle suprised
when they didn't stop playing.no way they finish orgasmatron and go right into going to brazil.mind you its F ing dark up
there and lemmy allmost fell on this ass, didn't seem to matter on bit they played through without missing a note. damb. It
was also a very nice crowd for them around 1000 people. there was a pretty lively mosh pit and alot of women, well at least
for motorhead show. all in all a fantastic show and if you don't belive me ask tim shockley he was there with his lovely wife
backstage taking pictures and generaly being one very lucky motorhead fan. het thats it deaf as allways fred rogers rogerscf@ticon.net
