Hello All you Bangers!
Sorry, I did not get to issue a new OS last week. I got kinda overwhelmed by work
and other things. But, here we are, back on track.
I have begun using the webpage's new LATEST NEWS section to be a forum for the latest,
greatest news about the band's happenings. I will repeat that info in every issue of
OS, but if you are one of those that has to have the latest scoop, check that section
often.
I have seen the cover artwork for the new live album and I must say that it is awesome!
Joe has created another classic 'head cover. This one shows the snaggletooth
totally electrified (LIVE) with lightning shooting everywhere! I will post the image
on the website as soon as I get permission from the band.
I only got a couple of link submission for the new LINKS section of the official website.
If anyone that has a Motorhead website, please send me the following:
* URL
* Description of the site (50 words max)
* Graphic/logo representing your site

Hey Ace,
I think the ultimate
Motorhead t-shirt would be just a black shirt with the War Pig on the front, and on the
back, in big letters, "Born to Lose, Live to Win," as was previously suggested.
It's one of the best philosophies on life I've heard before, and a Motorhead shirt
shouldn't be too flashy anyway-- straight and to the point.

High there,
The word Motorhead actually means "speedfreak". But if there's one drug that
will always be associated with Motorhead, it must be alcohol. I've never used anything
except for alcohol, marijuana/hashies and once some shit called "herbal XTC"
(which doesn't have anything to do with regular XTC). Alcohol is socially accepted,
marijuana isn't bad either, but I wouldn't recommend anything for use when listening to
Motorhead. Being drunk or stoned can be fun, but there's always a risk and some drugs have
BIG risks (heroin, LSD, crack, ...). After all, what's the fun: the drug or the music?

Concerning which drugs are Motorhead friendly, I'd say it doesn't matter since Motorhead is a drug!!!personaly I don't do
drugs and I'm neither for or against them, it's a personal choice. But I do tell my friends who take things like coke and
extasy(xtc) that they should try saafer things like marijana and magic mushrooms, which are fun drugs and natural too. of
course this is my opinion, they are free to listen or not to.
Since I concider the people on OS as friends this advice goes out to you all.

Hello boys and girls, (actually not that many girls, or am I wrong ? ;-)
Like every year , Castle is coming up with a "new" Motorhead compilation; these
"greatest hits" are not always interesting, but this one is worth buying !
It's the re-issue of the 1993 Castle"The Best Of Motorhead - All The Aces" but
now it's a double enhancedCD:
- the first one has the same play-list than in 1993, but there is a enhanced multimedia
section on it including: 2 live videos ( Ace Of Spades & Motorhead
), a discography, a photo gallery, Internet links... cool !
- the second one is called "The Muggers Tapes" : 8 classic rock'n'roll songs;
The Muggers were Fast Eddie and Philthy's fun time side project. They cover Neil
Young's Cinammon Girl" , Eddie Cochrane's "Summertime Blues", ...
The CD-cover is the same but there are much more photos in the leaflet .
The OS t-shirt is making his way; how many people are interested in it yet ? A lot of cool
design-ideas have been sent; we will soon have to vote for the best one !
I like the idea of the snaggletooth on the front and the list of the OS members on the
back; by the way, Ace, how many OS-freaks are we ?
March 22 is coming closer and closer; it will be ear-bleeding-time again !!!!
keep rockin' !
Alain
Editor: As far as the t-shirts go, it looks like about 20-30 of you are serious
about it (maybe more that just haven't vocalized it). I have also received several
interesting t-shirt designs. The band wants me to show them the designs before
saying yes or no to the whole project. As far as our numbers, we are 1100
headbangers strong with this issue.

Ace,
I want to thank you for all your hard work in starting what has become a really important
way for motorhead fans to find out precisely what is going on with motorhead on a very
timely basis. I think the website was a good creation, but the OS list is great
because it allows the fans to comment on past postings, and also learn of little heard
things that never would get covered elsewhere. Its great being a part of a fan-based
e-mail newsletter, because it's truly for the fans, and its great tohear stories from past
shows, etc. Thanks for a job well done.
Dave
**Editor: You are very welcome. OS (and the webpage) are labors of love. It is
great to hear that they are appreciated!

I was just curious if there was anyway I could possibly get the words to some of the old
Motohead songs such as "Ace of Spades", "Motorhead", and
"Snaggletooth" if that was alright w/ Lemmy.

Osceola County Florida
Last night ( Sat. Night ) in the City of St.Cloud there was a very bad
accident that involved a truck, mini-van, and car. It happened at the corner of 441 and
Orange Ave. About 200 yards from the accident I was in a small pub called
"Harley's Place". A young lady came and informed me of the accident which had
apparently happened some minutes earlier. When I reached the street the truck was in
flames and was totally engulfed in the inferno. By that time I saw law enforcement
arriving. I was later told that the owner of Harley's Place (Harley is a friend and fellow
Motorhead fan ) and another man from the pub actually pulled two people out of the burning
truck and suffered some small burns from their actions. I did see Harley when he returned
to the pub and he gave an announcement in the pub thanking the other gentleman for rushing
to the aid of those two burning people in the truck.
I have searched for a story about this and have come up empty handed. It may be getting to
press slow or it may be because Harley's Place is a biker bar and bikers are frowned upon
by the local law enforcement.Harley and the other gentleman thought nothing of their own
lives, they would not let those people burn to death in that truck. That, to me, deserves
some praiseand credit even if they didn't stick around expecting it. It is not often that
you see people do things like that. And then to just slip away from the scene when the
authorities and medics show up , ...... caring nothing for the attention or thanks of
others.
I was impressed last night by two gentlemen that looked a bit too scruffy to be the
heroes they showed themselves to be. One a freind and one a stranger.... neither
willing to let the people in that truck die in that fire. One day I may need help and they
are who I hope is near.
If you can do any small thing to show in some way that the actions these men performed are
honorable acts as I know they are.... then please do so. It would mean a lot even if it
were just a letter of congrads or i signed picture of the band to hang in his bar.
Thanks guys..... Get down here on vacation sometime... :)
Don't come to sing or anything... just come to have a good time.

Aeiough!
The M.O.T.O. home page has a new address. Here it is:
http://www.fortunecity.com/tinpan/parliament/930/
Also there are a few new pictures in the pictures section, and you can also hear M.O.T.O.
music when you click on certain song titles in the Discography section. At least I
think Dennis has that all ironed out.
Also feel free to drop us a note in the Guestbook!
Sincerely yours,
Paulus Caporinocus, B.C.
