Hello All you Bangers!
Well, LA was a blast! The NAMM show was bigger and better then ever! For a
full report, check out blastmagazine.com in about a week.
Unfortunately, I did not get the opportunity to hook up with Lemmy while I was in LA.
But, in the meantime, I have added some cool new stuff to the website. First, Lemmy
sent me a new batch of "Motorhead Speaks" answers and I have posted them on the
web site. Also, I have created a "Latest News" section for the site.
That is all for now. March 9 is very close! CAN'T WAIT!!

the CD will be heavily ladened with
> 90's work (13 of the 25 songs come from, in my opinion, Motorhead's best decade). I understand it's impossible
to release a Motorhead compilation without "Ace" and "Overkill", but I must say I wish we got to hear "Sex & Death", "Liar",
and "No Voices in the Sky" instead of "Stay Clean", "Metropolis", and "Killed by Death". All of which we've already
heard live on No Sleep at All. OK, maybe I'm getting a little greedy.
Agreed, 100%. "Ace" is unavoidable, but even
though there's a strong selection of the last 10 years work, there's really not
much point in re-doing stuff which is already on live albums (unless it really is a
genuinely superior performance/recording).

> The new album set list looks great with a good mix of old and new. Any reason why they did not include Shine, Stonedead
Forever, and Too Late Too Late, Road Crew. I saw some reviews from shows in england on your news letter and they were doing
these songs supposedly.
Yeah, I believe I recall most of these from the English shows I went to. Still, they are mostly already on live albums,
aren't they?
What would have been interesting is to have gotten a completely new song on
the live album, but we can't have everything, I suppose!
Cheers,
Carl

Hello fellow Motorheadbangers,
This week I was looking for a Motorhead desktop theme for use on my computer. I already
had one, but it was ugly (sorry to the guy that made it, but you should really take more
time to edit it nicely). I found a very nice one athttp://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Venue/4594/http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Venue/4594/mhtheme.zip. If
you want to Motorize your computer, check it out!

Put me down for a T - shirt.
Let us know the complex currency transaction that will be needed !!
The previous issue contained some comments about compilation CD's.
I completely agree, as a rule they are a rip off of the first order. I agree that they
provide a taster of the music for the uninitiated but MH fans seem to be faced with an
endless pile of this stuff.
I think we would be interested to know more from your Athens correspondent on the stuff
about Motorheads Management. I hope the gigs weren't in the Piraeous
Exhibition Centre, I did an exhibition in there and it is an oven even with the remedial
air conditioning must dash

Hi, Ace !
First of all, congratulations for the Issue#50, I'm receiving OS since the first edition,
and you have been doing a great work !
About the OS T-Shirt, I believe that would be nice if more OS-subscrivers can give some
ideas for the design. For example, the reproduction of Lemmy's tatoo "Born to lose -
Live to win" with the spades icon in the centre, placed in the T-Shirt's back, with
some new-designed Snaggletooth in the front, and, of course, a slogan in reference to the
OS-tribute.
Cheers
Claudio
**Editor: Great idea... anyone that has ideas for the t-shirt design, drop me a
note!

Hey all fellow motorheadbangers! I found an interesting bit of info on the web
concerning lemmy's acting credits. Go to the following website http://www.imdb.com The Internet Movie Database! I
did a search by actor and plugged in "Lemmy" and got none other than you know
who! For English speaking countries, the shortcut to the site is http://us.imdb.com. Very interesting for Lemmy to have
his own filmography. Cool indeed. Can't wait for that double album---let's have an
online party when it comes out! Can anyone tell me about the new upcoming double cd
release on 2/9 all the aces?" it has several 5 or 6 tracks like summertime
blues which I don't recognize? Does anyone know of this release? I think essential
is the one who is issuing it.

I would also be very honored to send in my own design for consideration like fellow AARON
CASWELL, for free ofcourse.
Also a big "GEIA XARA ELLADARA" to ZOUZOUNOS from ATHENS And just to add my own comment, the THESSALONIKI GIG was the single
most unique live experience of my life...and believe me I have been in a "few" gigs... Mayebe it's the fact that Im a motorhead
fanatic but hei aren't we all?

Hi Ace, I was wondering when the tribute album will be coming out and who will be
distributing it? Also heard rumors these bands will be opening for motorhead on a summer
tour. Is there any truth to that rumor?
**Editor: Working on it. This sort of project needs the legalities covered, and of
course, because I work directly for the band, everything needs to have their blessing.
As far as opening acts, I think it is a great idea, but I have heard of nothing
yet. A lot of that sort of thing has to do with the local promoters. I would suggest
that bands get in good with the local promoter and you might have a shot!

Unfortunately my company are sending me out to Amerca to do some software develoment over
