Hello Friends!!

The boys are storming their way across Europe. It's no secret that their strongest fan base has always been in Europe. So, make sure that you go out and support the boys when they come near you!

Oct 31 is going to be a great day for me. It will see the release (or should I say re-release) of the official Motorhead Website at it's old address of http://wwwimotorhead.com ! Also, we will be unveiling Blast Magazine on the same day... 7 pm P.S.T. at http://www.blastmagazine.com, I hope you check them both out!

It's been great to spend time with so many of you via ICQ. Lots you have now met me "on-line". I am usually on in the afternoons here... if you see me on, feel free to drop me a line!

That is all the news for now... keep listening!

Hey Ace,

Do you or anyone out there remember of a band called 'Rogue Male'? I liked them and I thought they sounded ALOT like Motorhead!! I have a tape of them called "First Visit" from 1985 and then I never heard anything more from them. Do you (or Anyone else) have any infor on this band? Did they put out anymore material etc.?
Keep Rockin'

Went to the 9th Oct. gig at the Manchester Academy with3 mates. Two were 1st timers and loved it. They played solidly for nearly an hour and a half and coped with magnificently with all kinds of equipment failures that involved Lemmy swapping basses twice! The only slight disappointment was them only playing one song from "Snake Bite Love" but that was "Take The Blame" and they stormed it! I was really looking forward to live versions of the title track and "Assassin" but you can't have everything. This was my 3rd time at a Motorhead gig and had funds allowed I'd have been at the Liverpool gig on the 10th too!

Unlike your previous emailers I will mention the support acts. They were shite. I didn't even bother watching the first one and the second "Groop Dogrel" (or whatever) started promisingly but then the bassist got abusive with the crowd and lost us. He started complaining about us not cheering enough etc. and demanded more from the audience. What the F**K does he expect? We didn't pay to see them, we didn't want to see them and I had never heard of them or any of their music! If you're a support act you have to accept that the crowd isn't going to go wild for you and just do the best you can. The best comment about them came from an anonymous wit about 30 feet from me when he yelled out to them "Go home to your mum!".

They didn't however ruin another excellent Motorhead experience. Keep on rockin' guys!

THis is from London, and this Weekend Motorhead will come and destroy everything. Last sunday, however, Lemmy took to the airwaves of Xfm, and played two hours of music that He wanted to hear. What proceded was two hours of music archive education on the evolution of rock and roll. FUcking Kickass!! He played 'over your shoulder' from the forth coming live album called... indeed ace you were right.... 'False Teath for the Deaf'

I sure hope it will be back in cyberspace soon. When I want to check it (although you were unable to update it, as you explained), my browser returns an error message. I first noticed it last week.

What can I say-The guys played a fucking great gig - Despite the crowd being a bit on the lame side. Some real classics too. They opened with Bomber, and it just got better from there. Other tracks in the set list were:Ace of spades, Overnight sensation, Love for sale, Sacrifice, Take the blame, No class, Over your shoulder, Civil war, Overkill, Dead men tell no tales, and Stone dead forever. There were more, but I cant remeber them all ! If they get better each time they play on this tour I love to see the last night ! I noticed also the T Shirts this time were much better than the crud on sale last time. They even had cups. Baseball caps were still a bit steep at fourteen UKP they cost the same as a T Shirt. Never like baseball caps anyway. Anyhoo if you were thinking of going, but couldnt decide then stop fucking on and get a ticket-You wont regret it (Actually you will next day when your body aches all over, and you cant hear for the ringing in your ears, but what the hell-Id have went both nights if theyd played 2). --

Hi Ace!

Below follows a (kind) reply in Swedish to a mail I received as a response to the 'Best Motorhead Release' & some questions re- garding Motorhead's imminent "Nordic Tour". Due to tecnichal probz (Returned mail: Service unavailable) I feel urged to mezz my info to Jan anyway

Basically I informz about the Motorhead-tour in Sweden & how to book tickets. Pleeezzzeee let it go into the mailing list or else Jan and his friendz propably think I'm an asshole....

Hi There Rock Brother!

Lagger man till "On Parole" sa forstar ju folk hur gammal man ar...;-)

Rock On Brother!

Varen Halsad kare Bertil

Having read Your insert to OS-#40 I must only say: You seem to have quite good taste in music (perhaps You could add On Parole to the ultimate list...). Kanske pa ett annat sprak ocksa. Jag blev sa forvanad over datumet i Malmo. Jaa jag kanske borde presentera mig: Jan Granlund of Vasa fan sedan manga ar bla bla.- Min text blev nagot osammanhangande, men kanske du i alla fall uppfattade nagot Med samnordiska halsningar Jan

I'm counting on you Ace...

Thanx In Advance!
