Well, I am beginning to feel normal again (or as normal as I get). I finally have
unpacked enough stuff in my new home to have cleared out my office. I now have my
computer and music center set up in an area other than my laundry room!
Well, things are progressing nicely on the tribute front. It is interesting to note
that when I sent out a request for tribute picks last issue, what I meant was for the
bands that are interested in participating to send in their requests. But, something
kinda cool came out of it by accident. Some of the fans on the list sent in opinions
on what they thought should be on the album. So, those artist out there that have
not sent me your picks for song(s) to cover, take head of these MHB comments... they know
what they want!
I must apologize again for the delay in getting the info to you about booking Motorhead.
I have been super busy this week and also smacked with a flu bug. I did not
manage to get in contact with the appropriate parties this week, but I will endeavor to do
so for the next issue. Thanks for your patience.
Did anyone catch any of the shows in Europe this month? Sure would love to hear
about them if you get the chance.
Also, we are nearing another membership milestone. By the time you read this, the
Overnight Sensation mailing list will have passed it's 400th member!! This is SO
cool!

Hello MHB
I recently saw a plain white box, no labels, except a small little sticker saying MH Iron
Fist. What is this release all about? It was quite heavy but for $49.99 I didn't think it
was worth the price. Does anyone have this?

Hi Ace,
The song my band FALLOUT would like to do is : Stay Clean. Alternates are : Over the Top,
Stone Deaf Forever, Deaf Forever, and Broken. If for some odd reason, all these are
unavailable, there are plenty more to choose from, just let me know.
Also, I'd like to know the details, regarding what the bands will be responsible fro (ie :
recording, mastering, etc...), and perhaps a time frame if possible.
Thanks!
See ya... Evil Clam
P.S. Fell free to surf by our site (URL below), check it out, and sign the guestbook. We
will be posting some sound files in the near future.
That's it !!! I'm calling the "SCARY BALD GUY"!!

Check it out at :

If you like it HEAVY, it's the place to be!!!
** EDITOR: Since we are doing this on a fan basis, I think the way it will have to
work is that the band is responsible for sending me the recording. I will arrange for the
mastering and all post production work. Sound good?

Dearest Motorhead-ML members, Despite living in the large Chicago area and collectiong
music for years, my collection is sadly lacking in the Motorhead department. So
whoever might be so kindly, I'd like help these things:
1) Live CDs. I would like any info where to get or offers to buy any QUALITY bootleg
recordings on CD from the Sacrifice or Overnight Sensation tours. Especially I'd
like to check out the live in Japan one called "Titty twister" that was
mentioned a couple issues of OS ago.
2) Tapes. I'm also interested in tape trading. Anything from the Bastards tour
to present. Only quality copies on high-bias or Metal tapes need apply. See
list below for trade offers.
3) Vidoes. Yes, I sadly have no 'Head on video either. I am most ashamed. I'll
take absolutely any videos that are of decent quality. No massive pictured
distortions or F'ed up sound. Stereo preferably. Copies must be from and made
in SP mode.
I am offering in trade for any of the afforementioned recordings: Live unofficial
recordings (all copies will be straight from CD) by Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden,
Suicidal Tendencies, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and a ton of
Jimi Hendrix. Also, live Videos of Jimi, Stevie Ray, Buddy Guy, Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath
(with Rob Halford &
reunion), Kiss, Prong, Judas Priest, Frank Marino, and Soundgarden.
I'd appreciate any help in getting my sad collection in order!

I think that Killed by death is a good choise. Two good alternates are Poison and

At the end-scene of Airheads (outside the Radio building in the crow), you can see Lemmy
standing there. He also speaks a short sentence (I can t remember exactly what it's about)

several years now but I've never learned as much about them as I have since I subscribed
to your list. Just wanted to say thanks!
Keep
it up, -Tom D.-

Hi!
My name is Yves, I'm thirty, and I'm playing in a hardcore belgian band. I just want to
say that we are ready to record a Lem's track (probably "I'll be you sister", if
nobody does it yet), but I want to know if we can do the recording here in Belgium... The
four of us are actually working, and I bet it will be difficult (and expensive!) to have
our hollydays at the same moment. Please let me know!!
PS - Excuse my english. It's actually my third langage and... well, I don't speak (and
write) it that good!!!
C-U
**EDITOR: Absolutely! I don't expect all of you to head up to Vancouver to
record your tracks. You can just send me the tape and we will do the rest.

Hi all MHBs and else,
I have also a band and we are playing cover version of Motorhead's No Voices In The Sky,
so that is my first recommendation to the tribute album. Heres my list to the album;
1. No Voices In The Sky
2. Bomber
3. Born to Raise Hell
I must also, like so many else, say that the tribute album is a great idea! That's all for
this time, keep your Motorhead records playing!

tribute album...
a GREAT norwegian band (norgwegian bands generally sucks, but this band i GREAT and really
big in the underground scene in europe) called motorpsycho comes to mind... they tend to
include motorhead songs in their sets - most notably 'metropolis' (i'm putting a rec of
this song on my site in ra soon). they've *got* to be included! they're kinda hawkwind-ish
in style (sometimes(!) but when they rock, they're motorhead all over! and mind you - this
is NOT to promote norwegian music (see above), but to promote a great band.

Hi(gh) Ace,
My name is Os, what a coincidence, and that's Dutch for ox. Not a very good name 'cause
I'm still a (THE) man. I've got a question. Recently I heard from a (very beautiful)
girl-friend that 'Motorhead' does not (only) mean 'biker-helmet' but (also) 'the hangover
you have after heroine'. Lemmy => speed => heroine; not impossible, I gues. Do you
or anybody else know something more about this 'cause this boy is and will be 'staying
clean'.
Groots, bloody groots

Hi Ace,
first of all: congratulations for your brilliant work, keep it up!
I've read in OS#9 that you are always looking for MH memorablia. Being a fan since 1979 (I am now 30 years of age), I searched
my files of concert tickets (about 35 in total, from artists like Rollins Band, Pantera, Kiss, Zodiac Mindwarp, and many
more), and found the first ticket I have ever bought: the bastards in 1981! They were supported by Tank and gave the crowd
the show everybody wanted to see, including the flying bomber (known from the Hammersmith album aleeve). Maybe you can use
it for the homepage.
Stay clean,
Jens
