Greetings Fellow Motorheadbangers!!

Well, I have heard a lot of rumors from people that should be in the know... it looks like Motorhead will tour the United States starting in early April and running through mid-May. I have also heard from several sources that it looks like MORBID ANGEL will be the band that hits the road with them. More info as I get it...

All you Motorheadbangers in the London area! I will be in London for exactly one night... Monday, February 11. I am going to be staying at the Renaissance Hotel at Heathrow on Airport Bath Road. I was thinking that if some of you OS list members were free, you could come by the hotel and we could have a little get together. If someone brings a CD Player with Speakers, I will bring the CD-R I have of the new Motorhead album for us all to hear! If you are interested, either just show up around 8pm or email me. But don't hestiate, I fly out tomorrow and won't have a great opportunity to answer emails (or even read them). I just thought this might be fun! I will be staying under my REAL name, which is Ace Trump.

I will be touring with a band in Europe for the following 2 weeks... they are called ASIA (remember them?). If anyone is interested in hooking up at one of the shows, I will likely be selling the shirts at most (if not all) shows. Just come on down! I hope to see you at the show(s). Check out http://www.pollstar.com for tour dates.

As some (or most of you) know, I work for the company that does Motorhead's merchandising. I wanted to give you, the hardcore of the Motorhead family the chance to voice your opinion on a couple of things.

First, the retail world is asking us to create a Motorhead poster for sale in music shops and related places. What Motorhead album cover/image would you most like to see made into a full size poster? Just send me an email to acetrump@bigfoot.com with the subject being MOTORHEAD POSTER VOTE. Remember, this is your chance to shape the image of things to come. So get off your asses and VOTE!

Second, is there any other items that you would like to see us produce for sale either on tour or off the website? Anything at all, just let me know. If enough people want a certain item, I will get it made! Send me an email to acetrump@bigfoot.com with the subject being MOTORHEAD NEW PRODUCTS. Again, the future is being shaped by you... so step up and say your piece.

I have a brand new "Snaggletooth" necklace that is now available exclusively through the website. Check it out!

I have a new item that htat has been added to the Motorheadshop. I have taken the now famous "Bastards" album cover and put it on a t-shirt. I must say, I think it is the coolest Motorhead t-shirt I have seen yet! As a presale special, any OS member that buys the shirt before the end of February will get a free Motorhead sticker set as a bonus. Make sure that you list the free sticker set in your order, otherwise you will not get it.

I have the shirt in Med, L, XL, XXL, XXXL and XXXXL. The prices are as follows:

Medium, Large and XLarge are $25 each plus shipping & handling. XXL are $28 each plus shipping & handling. XXXL are $35 each plus shipping & handling. XXXXL are $38 each plus shipping & handling.

Go to the Motorheadshop at http://www.imotorhead.com and click on the "Classic Motorhead England" shirt for details on ordering and shipping. The info there is the same as it will be on the Bastards shirt.

Have an awesome week!

Hey, how's it going Ace? I am a HUGE fuckin fan of Motorhead, and had a question about the upcoming tour for "hammered". Who will be playing with them? Bands I would love to see are Megadeth, MORBID ANGEL, Iced Earth, Misfits, Anthrax, Slayer, etc. I also wanted to know what kind of venues they would be playing at, like small clubs, theatres, etc. But something I have been dying to know is will we the fans see Motorhead this year on the Ozzfest? And if not, maybe another tour, or a headlining jaunt?

**Ace: Your wish is my command... **PUFF** Morbid Angel is probably going to tour with Motorhead. (I am not THAT great a wizard) :-)

Well, I bought this a week after it was released and the first thing I did was listen to the cd. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! It was very good to have my banner with the Motorhead logo on it and Nemo Malus Felix (No Peace For The Wicked) under the logo between 2 speakers that were straining to contain the force of Motorhead live. As for the DVD, yes I admit that the menu is like a maze to navigate, but after 2 or 3 attempts I got it right. As for the sound, well I've witnessed Motorhead live twice so with my computer speakers I knew what to do. CRANK THE VOLUME UP, CRANK THE BASS UP AND KEEP THE TREBLE DOWN. And watch those speakers move across the desk. Overall, a damn good Package.. I loved the video for God save The Queen but Lemmy, eye make up does not suit ya. Yes, I agree a few things are wrong but come on I know we all want things to be perfect but we all know nothing is 100% perfect in life. Well apart from Lemmy.
Nemo Malus Felix.. and We Are Born To Raise Hell.

Hi. I am an old American guy (37) living in Amsterdam. The first time I saw Motorhead was around Christmas '79 at the Hammersmith Odeon when I was 15 years old. I had to respond to the complaints regarding the DVD not being out in the States yet:
1) I live in Amsterdam and can do anything I want anytime!
2)The DVD has been out for months!!
3)Its GREAT!!!
4) I'm ON IT with my bro and best friend

A tip for those who's watching the Boneshaker through a computer DVD. Some programs allow you to choose chapters, titles and such by rightclicking, just try all titles and chapters. I did, and I think I've seen the whole thing. And also some DVD software is able to convert a PAL signal to NTCS, so the americans should be able to watch it this way. But if you buy it and can't get it working, don't kill me alright? By the way; Mot-rhead is playing at the Sweden rock festival this year, http://www.swedenrock.com

If you go to the Ozzfest site and see the gossip shit that someone posted there on Januray 14 (14 January) , in that paragraph, there is some shit about how cool it would be to have a "reunited" Motorhead playing at Ozzfest 2002, one featuring Fast Eddie and Wurzel. I think that this guy has been taking his cigarettes and soaking them in PCP and then smoking them , for that is the way that the media says that you do that stuff nowadays. I think that he is up to 2 packs a day of then too, writing shit like this that makes no fuckin' sense at all. Nothing like pure conjecture and hallucinations
to spruce up a site.
I have a question. I see that the American government, in its infinite wisdom, is protecting us citizens by making sure that evil rock bands don' tget into the country now. They have kept a few of them out already, like Marduk. Since 2 of the 3 guys that are in Motorhead are not US residents and wuill need the requisite visas and shit to get into the country, will there be any problem with that? I always thought that shit was a matter of having the proper connections to get that shit done, and after 26+ years, I hope that Motorhead have the necessary connections, but you never know in this "new world" of ours.
Now here's another shameless plug for my website, because I know a lot of you don't have the address marked and shit http://www.themastersunderground.com Come and see what the FBI has seen. Behold what they have beholden.
Lastly, to that Martin dude. I don't dig beer, and as far as that spliff goes, can I unroll it and put the contents in an ashtray and then do them up through my bong? You know, like high falutin', refined, tasteful style.

Never take A Wooden Nickel,
Mike Mc Intyre

Ace how many tracks are on the new album? How does it compare to We Are Motorhead ? Who produced it? When will the North American tour start? Well I hope thats enough for you. Ace you do a great job if you ever need help from the midwest let me know.

**Ace: The CD-R I have contains 11 tracks. But I am told that the CD will also have the Live version of Overnight Sensation from the Brixton show and probably either "The Game" or "Shoot 'Em Down" as a bonus. In addition, the release of HAMMERED in other contries may also get some of the other live tracks from Brixton that do not appear on the bonus CD that accompanies the DVD.

I forget the producers name, but he has worked with U2, Slayer, Ozzy and others in the past. The tour will (hopefully) start in April.

Subject: os: mystery album perhaps?

Hi Creatures!

New album coming out just in time for my birthday? YES! YES! YES FUCKIN? YES!!! But apart from gushing about how much I?m looking forward to getting ?Hammered? (heh heh) I?m just butting in with a reply to Joe Baker who wrote last time saying:

?Some years ago I ran across a motorhead (I suppose) album, copyrighted 1976-ish entitled "Play It Loud- the Best of Motorhead". The production style was nothing like that of Motorhead or Hawkwind (it sounded almost like the Beatles), and I suspect it wasn't Motorhead at all - Mind filling me in??

There are lots of these dodgy unofficial compilations about with ?The Best Of? in the title. It sounds as if you?ve got one with a load of tracks from the ?On Parole? album. For those who know the saga of On Parole, scroll past this. If you don?t, it goes roughly like this:

The album was partially recorded by the very first Motorhead line-up consisting of Lemmy, Larry Wallis (ex-Pink Fairies/Deviants) on guitar and some lead vocals and Lucas Fox on drums.

Phil Taylor ended up on the album ?cos he was a mate of Lemmy?s and gave the big man a lift to Rockfield Studios. He brought his drums for a jam and ?cos Lucas Fox didn?t show up to finish it Phil took over and overdubbed all the drum tracks except ?Lost Johnny?, and old Hawkwind number. Lucas Fox is on this track ?cos Phil ate some pills to avoid getting busted with them but woke up 3 days later in Brixton jail and the studio time had run out.

The album was signed to United Artists but got shelved ?til after Motorhead had made it on the Bronze label.

And if I?m right about the mystery album, this explains why the tracks on it don?t sound anything like Motorhead as we know and love ?em.

By the way, Mike McIntyre, promise you will never leave us! Ace is right, OS would never be the same without you!

I?m gone. Dirty Love to all,
